About Me

Hi! I’m Jamie Ridley and Ridley’s is my business based in Crawley, specialising in cakes, pastry and confectionery. I am a passionate baker and I will always strive for the highest quality to give you the best product available. I have wanted to be a chef since the age of 14, after winning a ‘Ready Steady Cook’ competition as a Cub in Crawley. Since then, my passion for food has only grown; I studied Food Tech at GCSE and later, spent three very successful years studying at Westminster Kingsway College, finishing with a Diploma in Pastry. After leaving college in 2014, I have worked for a variety of establishments including hotels, cafes, restaurants, pubs and bakeries, which has allowed for my pastry knowledge, techniques and skills to develop to a very fine standard.

Ridley’s was first launched in 2019, where I operate in a fully fitted professional kitchen, converted from the garage of my family home. At every stage, from placing your order to receiving your delivery, I always endeavour to give a top quality and stress-free service to make your experience with Ridley’s the best possible. I currently hold a rating of five for food hygiene and am confident supplying a range of cakes, tarts and handcrafted chocolates to suit events and business needs. I have also developed a small range of delicious vegan, gluten free and dairy free cakes and bakes, and I am always looking for ways to expand the range of cakes available for you to buy.
